"No More Knee Pain - No More Shin Splints, Ultimate Fitness Program For Runners"
Yes, You Can Dramatically Increase Your Running Endurance And Speed Without Hurting Yourself
Dear Fellow Runner,
If you love running but have never found a way to run injury free, then this may be the most important letter you ever read.
Here's why:
My name is Jerry Hopkins, and I've been a runner all my life. Like yourself I enjoy running, but had to stop doing so because of running injuries. I had runner's knee, back aches, throbbing shins, early signs of shin splints - and it seemed like I was always ending up with some kind of calf injury.
As you know, running is a way to control your weight and/or lose weight. So, the fact that I couldn't run pain free meant that I wasn't running as often, and sometimes not at all - and this caused a lot of weight gain.
Very quickly I put on 20 pounds of blubbery fat. So I had to find a way to get this weight off.
What's more, even though I stopped running I still had joint pain. So, I had double-trouble: I couldn't run injury free and I was still in pain, uggggh!
|
Jerry Hopkins shows you how to dramatically improve your running, pain-free!
|
Can any of you relate to this?
I tried to overcome it with will power. I would think, "Well if my body hurts, no matter what, I'm going to run, because I would rather be in pain, than be fat."
But, I just couldn't do it. Instead of enjoying running, running began to mean pain and disappointment.
This was a pretty depressing thought. Not only did I feel old, but I was going to miss a hobby I loved.
For several months I didn't run. I didn't think it would bother me, but it did. I missed running, I missed the runner's high and of being outside.
Even though I tried to push through it, I became depressed, and the more depressed I got, the more I ate. The more I ate the fatter I got. I was in a vicious cycle.
How was I going to stay in shape?
Then, I discovered some incredibly simple but super effective exercises that come from India and China. I could do them in less than 15 minutes - and as a result, I accidentally discovered that these fitness exercises gave me the secret to running injury free. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Hold on.
Here's what I actually did:
I took some time off from running and did these exercises and they increased the strength in my connective tissues, and prevented my muscles from tiring. This was the perfect program to insure that I was an injury free runner.
I felt better and better each day.
Then One Day, I knew I had the magic bullet when I went out for a jog and to my amazement I could run without fatigue or injury for several miles ... and I hadn't actually gone on a run in many weeks. Even more miraculous, the next day my knees and thighs and ankles didn't hurt from such a long run. What a great feeling!
Now I can run as far as I want to, 26 miles or more without a running injury or any kind of pain. Most of the time I like to just keep it at 5 to 8 miles. But it's nice to know I can go further and faster if I want to.
I have never been happier. I enjoy running more than before.
My injury free running program works. It worked for me and it will work for you. Whether you are an average athlete or into marathon running, it will do the trick for you. My program works regardless of your age, background or previous condition.
I'm no Phidippides. (The ancient Greek who ran the first marathon.) I'm a big Clydesdale type runner. At 6' 3" inches tall and 230 pounds, I am not your average runner, by any stretch. Yet, I am running injury free - and if I can learn to do it - you can, too.
If you are in pain and think you have to give up, then switch gears mentally. You don't have to live this way. Anyone can turn this situation around. It doesn't matter what level you are, a beginner who is into fitness jogging or a competitor who is marathon running, you can start to enjoy running again.

Still not convinced? Check out these testimonials:
"Hi Jerry!
"I am so happy that I found your program on the internet! I've been
using the "Running Tough" program now for more than a year. I started
running seriously about 3 years ago as I never had much time for it
before (I'm 47 and have 9 children from ages 25 to 6yrs old). At
first, I had a hard time increasing my mileage. As soon as I would
start to add any distance I would get shin splints and have to stop.
I wasn't able to increase for a few weeks. Then I started to have
pains in my knee. First one knee would have pain and then go away
when I decreased running. Then after starting up again the other knee
would have the pains. That's when I discovered your "How to Run Like
a Deer Forever, Injury Free". I thought when I first got the program,
"Oh no, this isn't worth the money!". But then I thought I would go
ahead and try the program and if I didn't like it I could send it
back. Well, I couldn't believe it, after one month of doing the
exercises the pains in the knees never came back again and I have not
had shin splints again either. I have increased my mileage up to 18
miles now and look forward to my first marathon. Thanks and keep up
the good work!"

"What a fantastic program! I've long been looking for a comprehensive,
easy-to-understand, and easy-to-implement running injury prevention workout routine. Your 'Run Like a Deer Forever' program definitely fits the bill. I really enjoyed your simple, straight to the point writing style and was
extremely pleased to find workouts designed for runners of all
abilities. My lower back has been bothering me while running for the
last year but after implementing your exercises, my back has never felt
better!
"I highly recommend 'Run Like a Deer Forever' and will be recommending
your program to both my subscribers and website visitors.
Thanks again,"

"Hi Jerry,
"I want to say THANK YOU! Thank you for writing your book, "How To Run
Like A Deer Forever!" I faithfully followed your advise and did the
exercises while training for the marathon! I am very happy to report
that I successfully ran and finished my First Marathon! I ran it in 3 hours
59 minutes and 20 seconds!
"It wasn't until mile 21 that I started feeling a bit of soreness in my
right thigh muscle. At that point I knew it was mind over matter so I
gave it all I had knowing that there was no way I was going to slow
down, stop, or even quit! I mentally made my body relax and at mile 25 I
suddenly felt NO PAIN so I ran even faster the last 1.2 mile.
I am very happy and proud of myself as is my entire family!
"I tried to send you the link for you to see my picture that was taken
at the marathon, but it did not go through. I have a strange internet
service provider that deletes attachments due to virus dangers or
something. Anyway if you want to see my picture go to: brightroom.com then select that you want to see event pictures. Enter either the date of March 21, 2004 or the name: more marathon. Once the list is displayed select it and enter the Bib # of 3416, my last name:
Kneuker, and photo id: 3416. You should then be able to see my
pictures. (I'm in red).
"Again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your book. I'm sharing it with my son
and other family members who also want to run a marathon since I have
inspired them!
"Best regards,"

"Hi Jerry,
"Yes I am doing much better since I started your program. I
recently cut back on the exercises as I was spending over 1 hour every
other day. I think i am going to just use the core exercises mostly
every few days. The program is very helpful. I do the intermediate
number of reps and sets except for the V- ups which I still can only do
3/15. I can now run 4-5 miles at a time. I was very deconditioned
aerobically and had to build back up. I am still pretty slow but now
that my mileage is coming back I should be able to get faster soon.
"
My knee range of motion is much better and it doesn't stiffen up on
me nearly as much if I remember to do some squats, for instance before
a long car trip, etc.
"I would be happy to write a testimonial as I believe your program
was a wonderful value for the great price you offered. (still $30?)
It was the only thing that finally turned me around to being able to
start running again. And I had tried MANY things! I particularly
liked the explanation at the beginning of WHY the program was
beneficial to the muscles and joints compared to weight lifting and the
current vogue exercise regimes. I also loved the booklet with your
detailed programs for the various levels and how to proceed from there. It was both very simple and very challenging.
"I very much appreciated the feedback I was able to get directly
from you via e-mail. The program was sent to me very promptly at a
time when I was very anxious for help.
"Let me know if there is a format for the testimonial or feel free
to use excerpts of this letter as long as you don't change the wording.
"
Unfortunately I don't have any running pictures YET but hopefully
soon I will be back to racing.
"Keep up the good work, you will help many people!!
"Gratefully yours,"

"I already ordered your book and have been following the program. After
just a few weeks I am noticing not as much pain in my knee joints and
my hams and quads are getting stronger. Thanks!"

"When I finished How to Run Like a Deer Forever the first thing I thought was 'Wow I wish I had had this book sooner'. Oh yeah there are other books about how to run injury free but I found them complicated and hard to read. I never felt I could put the information to practical use. But with How to Run Injury Free I got the info I needed quickly and in a user friendly format. I was able to incorporate Jerry's routine into my daily running regimen right away. Those nagging shin splints I had were gone inside of 2 weeks and gone for good. Look, at 225lbs I am not a petite runner. I put a lot of stress on my body just pounding the pavement. I am so glad to have found How to Run Injury Free to help keep me injury and pain free. Anyone who runs need this info."

"This is wonderful resource for any athlete, whether they're a runner or not. The exercises shown in How to Run Like a Deer Forever not only help you relieve your joint pain, but strengthen your muscles and connective tissue so they'll prevent any future occurence of that pain. I found this course extrememly valuable for my knees and ankles. Now my workouts are better and my recovery has improved dramatically. What Jerry has written is so simple, easy to use, and takes so little time to do, but it's value is enormous. Anyone serious about their progress as an athlete should not be without How to Run Injury Free."

"Dear Jerry:
Just wanted to touch base with you.....I bought your program, "how to
run like a deer etc." probably 6 months ago. I signed up for my first
full marathon coming up in Jan 05. I signed up for the Disney
Marathon in Florida and i somehow stumbled on your website the day I
was signing up to participate in the event.
Jerry, I have never run in my life....I couldn't even run to the end
of my driveway and decided to run a marathon. To boot, I was a smoker
and I love to go out and drink socially - yeah a real party animal....
gotta love it.....
Anyway, I've always been a gym rat, despite all my wonderful bad
habits....weight lifting and being toned was normal for me. but since
i never ran more than 5 steps, i knew i had to do something.....i also
have a weak right knee and suffer frequent lumbar strains (i guess
from excessive training, becoming exhausted and losing proper form)
After ordering your program, I read all of the information, and was
almost laughing and thinking to myself, you have to be kidding. [such
simple exercises]
what a joke....and this i paid money for?
well after doing your beginners workout, jerry, i could not walk for 3
days, and every inch of me hurt.....the only thing i could do was
laugh!!! I remember thinking, maybe jerry has something here....how
can i be sore with such easy exercises (that weren't so easy by the
way with the number of reps)
Well, Jerry, my knee pain and back pain are a thing of the past.....i
was able to quit smoking, and will barely finish a cocktail if i go
out. I am stronger than i think i have ever been, and what's even
crazier, is that I appear "shredded" bodybuilder's term for very
defined.....people have come up to me in the gym and wanted to know
what i was doing ....AMAZING!
Oh, and of course.....the most important thing.....not only can i now
run to the end of my driveway, I run for miles without gasping for
breath, and free of knee or back pain.....
Jerry, I have told many people about your program, and what it has
done for me.....
Thank you for all the positive changes that you helped to bring into
my life.....
Best wishes...."

"Hi Jerry!
I ordered your exercise package about 1 year ago, and at the time, I was
extremely frustrated with my efforts to run again! I had been a
sprinter in high
school and college, and had done a lot of jogging in my twenties and
early
thirties, but through the years ( I am now in my mid-forties!) I had
lost all
aerobic or physical ability, and had gained at least 70 pounds from a
relatively
sedentary lifestyle. I was 6' 2" tall, 260 pounds and it seemed like
every time I
went to the doctor, he was prescribing a new drug to try to get my
"numbers" back
in line with where they were supposed to be. I had high blood pressure,
extremely
high Triglycerides, constant indigestion/reflux issues, Allergies,
complications
from two herniated discs, and any of a hundred other minor problems
with my
deteriorating health! I finally got fed up with what I felt was my body
falling
apart, and decided to DO something about it. At the beginning of Spring
last
year, I couldn't run three miles without being totally beat up and in
pain. My
back, knees and ankles were very sore and took three or four days to
recover!
But, I persevered, and I started doing your exercises! I was very slow
and
limited at first, but slowly got better and found that the minimal
running that I
was doing was hurting less and less! I was actually making progress! I
stuck with
it through the difficulty and pain, but the further I pushed, the
better I felt.
Somewhere around the end of summer last year, I noticed that I was not
getting
sore after running, and that I was gaining speed and endurance. I was
ecstatic! I
was also 50 pounds lighter, and planning my first serious race, a 20K
trail run,
and I was very excited to be able to run that far, that soon!
I continued the training and to date have completed a 25K, a 50K, and
in March, I
ran 40 miles of a 50 mile race! (I know I could have finished the race,
but due
to some really HOT weather, I, and many others in the race were pulled
because of
time. I was only 20 minutes late to the 40 mile point, but I was
actually feeling
fine! Next time, I am GOING to finish!)
I don't want to sound like a typical testimonial, because I realize
that what I
am doing and the distances I run are NOT typical, so I don't want to
over-simplify it and say that all I had to do was follow your simple
exercises!
It took a great deal more than your exercises to get where I am,
including
regular chiropractic adjustments, a real mental commitment to a healthy
lifestyle, and a new attitude about what is important to me! But, your
exercises
came along at exactly the point that I needed them. I couldn't have
gotten past
the pain to continue training without the strengthening and range of
motion that
the exercises have given me. And I am still improving today. I am
anxious to lose
ten more pounds, and have no doubt that I will accomplish that this
summer! That
will put me well below 200 pounds, and in better overall shape than I
was 20
years ago!
Sorry if I have rambled on with this email, but I thought it might be
of value
for you to hear my story. My running has allowed me to eliminate ALL of
the
medications that I was taking, with the only exception being a Niacin
supplement
that helps control a genetically-based high triglycerides problem, and
it is very
likely that I will be able to stop that soon as well! Your program will
be a
vital part of my training regimen for the rest of my life, and I thank
you for
the opportunity to tell my story! I hope that it can be used as an
example of
what a huge difference "core strength, and conditioning" can have on
the average
person! I am NOT a great runner, but I AM Running GREAT! Thanks again!
Sincerely,"

"Just received and watched your DVD. It made so much sense! No wonder
I am having intermittent pain in my knees. As a new runner I over
train, over use, and do not have the muscle development to support the
kind of running that I am doing. I do other cardio, weight training,
and even many of your exercises regularly, but I am certainly not doing
sets of 100. I am going to begin your program and monitor my results."

"Hey there Jerry!
"I just read and re-read your books, and they are really great! I am
not a seasoned runner, I have been racing just 3 years, and really love
it!
"The reason I ordered your books is because I am a kind of "do it all
the way, or forget it" kind of girl..... well, this came true in my
running, and I got a little carried away.
"I went from running 2 miles a day, to a great 10K, and I thought if I
could handle that, than it would be no problem running 5-6 miles a
day!!! YAHOO!!! I thought I would be in fighting form, lose a pesky 5
pounds and shape up my legs.....well, I have two words for you. SHIN
SPLINTS. Ohhhhhh my. That is one of the worst pains you can have. I
could barely walk. So, there went my super sessions of 5 miles a day.
I was lucky to walk up and down my stairs with my three year old in my
arms.
"Out of desperation, I searched the internet for shin splint quick fixes
as I was anxious to get back at it. I saw your book, and immediately
ordered it, and have utilized all of your exercises, and they have
helped me so much. It is hard for me to take a month off, as per your
advice, but a week off was ok, and I have incorporated your plan of
attack for injured runners.
"Thanks for a great book, and I love your emails with tips for runners!"
